Good-Bye Until Next September
February 8, 2014
Today was my last day at MMA until next September as I have accepted another teaching position for the rest of the school year. My new position will allow me to spend time with struggling elementary students to figure out what they need. It will be an incredible learning opportunity for me, though I will miss my Regal students terribly. I am not sure who will be replacing me until June but I am sure he/ she will love the students.

Reel girls film festival
Our first film festival was an overwhelming success during Catholic Education Week. We viewed outstanding Canadian films, including a closing screening of "Every Emotion Counts," made by talented Marymount alumnus Darlene Naponse.
The most powerful part of the festival, in my opinion, was seeing the movies that our students created. They were screened at our Wednesday night gala and I as amazed at the quality and variety of student work.

Also, stay tuned for information about the 2013-2104 festival.
